Life is a journey of endless experiences and learning, through which one acquires knowledge and distinction. Anant Jhaveri has embraced this philosophy by moving beyond the ordinary world of commerce into the world of art, where he has discovered his passion as a collector.
His interest in silver began quite unexpectedly during a visit to Udaipur with Dr. Sumant Shah, a cousin’s father-in-law. Dr. Shah had treated Mahavir Mindha, the chief jeweller of the Maharana of Udaipur, and during their many meetings and conversations, Anant learned about the silver articles and artefacts of the kingdom. Inspired by these accounts, he began collecting silver items and other antiques, marking the start of his career as a collector.
